The Rundown: The Blank is revealed as the killer seeks a final reckoning with Tracy.
Tracy and Pat find themselves standing over another body during a funeral and Dick Tracy is ready to finally take the fight to the killer and break some rules in order to get results. With Pat by his side, Lizz arrives and insists that she be a part of the team given what happened to her. The first thing the trio does is go after the corrupt clerk who has been feeding the killer information.
Tracy and Pat pay Breathless a visit and Tess arrives to reveal the truth about the lounge singer before the Blank shuts down the club and threatens to blow it up. Things get more dangerous when the Blank decides that Tracy is going to be on the killer’s list as well.
The Story: Segura and Moreci deliver a thrilling adventure in this issue and bring this arc to a satisfying if mildly predictable conclusion. As much as the reveal wasn’t particularly surprising, there are some interesting and engaging reveals and surprises throughout the issue. I love the dark tone of the story and how events play out organically to drive the plot forward and I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.
The Art: Borges delivers some powerful, detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the character designs a lot.
